The new and only low budget hostel very close to the city of Duisburg and at least very closed to Dusseldorf - U-bahn to the city of Dusseldorf just 200 metres. Our house consists of dorms and double rooms with low prices and high standards. You can use our computer with DSL for free. W-Lan Access points are all over the house. You can reach the central station within a 15 minutes walk.

Our guests love the slumber breakfast from 9am onwards for just 5 Euro more and the possibility of a slumber checkout for only 1 € extra.

The house is old with high ceilings and is painted in nice and warm colours inside.

Bed linen is included in our dobule rooms. In all other cases, please bring your sleepingbag , for bedlinen we have to charge you 3 € extra once.

Check in: 10am-1pm and 5pm-9pm but, if you can't arrive within these times, don't hesitate to contact us.

UNFREUNDLICH – UNFLEXIBEL Man hatte mir telefonisch bestätigt, dass für den Abend noch ein Bett für mich frei wäre und ich bis 20 Uhr einchecken könne. Als ich gegen 19:30 Uhr anrief, um meine Verspätung anzukündigen, sagte man mir, dass man maximal bis 5 min nach 20 Uhr warten werde, ich solle mir ab Duisburg Hbf ein Taxi nehmen, dann könnte ich es noch schaffen. Als ich aufgrund einer 10-minütigen Verspätung des Zuges um 15 min nach 20 Uhr eintraf, stand ich vor verschlossenen Türen und auch das Telefon wurde nicht mehr bedient. Zum Glück gab/gibt es noch ein Hostel in Oberhausen, wo man mich sehr freundlich und über die Maßen hilfsbereit aufgenommen hat.

Also ich hatte es mir schlimm vorgestellt ! doch es ist geil ohne ende ! Große geräumige schöne zimmer ! Familieres Feeling und gute Lage ! Mangel weiß ich keine, vll. die gemeinsamen duschen, aber das ist nun mal ein hostel und kein hotel ! preis/leistung ist mehr als das beste ! ;)

Love this place. It is quiet, clean, central, E-Z to find. It is run by someone who has traveled and knows what we backpackers, etc. want in a short/med stay. And unlike the more formal youth hostels, you are free to cook, come in late and do as you please. 5/5!
